Alisa is a native of Columbus
Ohio. She received her B.F.A.
from the Columbus College of
Art & Design in 1989. She has
been exhibiting and teaching
art in the Columbus area since
1990. She founded Mixed
Media Heritage Gallery in
1995. (She owned and
operated Mixed Media, a
specialty store located in the
heart of downtown Columbus
from 1995-2004.) Alisa is a
multi-talented artist who works
in a large variety of mediums.
Although painting is her first
love she is particularly fond of
graphic design and illustration.

Alisa's newest series of paintings reflect the beauty she found on a recent trip to
Africa. The colors and patterns that she encountered as well as the intimate
glimpses into the lives of the people she met are vividly displayed in many of her
paintings. It is her sincere hope that you will enjoy viewing them as much as she
enjoyed creating them.
